Dapat mengetahui perbedaan binary file dan script file.
Knowing the difference binary files and script files
Mengetahui cara membackup & restore menggunakan binary file tanpa password maupun menggunakan password.
Knowing how to backup and restore using binary files without a password or using password
Mengetahui cara membackup & restore konfigurasi menggunakan script file.
Knowing how to backup and restore configuration using the script file.

Konsep dasar

Basic Concepts

Backup dapat diartikan sebagai proses membuat salinan data sebagai cadangan saat terjadi kehilangan atau kerusakan data asli.

Backup can be defined as the process of making a backup copy of the data in the event of loss or damage to the original data.

Sedangkan restore adalah mengembalikan atau mengekstrak file backup ke dalam bentuk dan format file aslinya baik melalui proses decompress maupun tidak sama sekali

While the restore is to restore or extract the backup file into the form and format of the original file either through decompresses or not at all

Konfigurasi dalam router dapat dibackup dan disimpan untuk digunakan kembali. Ada 2 jenis backup, yaitu:

Configuring the router can be backed up and stored for reuse. There are twotypes of backup, namely:

1. Binary File (.backup)

Tidak dapat dibaca teks editor.
Unable to read a text editor.
Membackup seluruh konfigurasi router.
Backing up the entire configuration of the router.
Dapat kembali seperti konfigurasi semula.
Can be returned to its original configuration.

2. Script File (.rsc)

Berupa script, dapat dibaca dan diediit text editor.
The form of the script, can be read and diediit text editor.
Dapat membackup seluruh atau sebagian dari konfigurasi router.
Can backup all or part of the configuration of the router.
Tidak mengembalikan ke konfigurasi semula melainkan menambahkan script tertentu pada konfigurasi utama.
Do not restore to its original configuration, but add certain script in the main configuration.

1. Pertama buka mikrotik menggunakan aplikasi winboxt

2. Selanjutnya atur ip address terlebih dahulu , pergi ke “IP” lalu “Address” dan gunakan tanda “+” untuk menambahkan ip address dan sesuaikan ether yang sedang dipake , lalu “Apply” dan “OK”

2.The next set ip address in advance, go to the "IP" and "Address" and use the "+" to add the IP address and adjust ether that was using that, then "Apply" and "OK"

3. Dan kemudian cara backup tanpa menggunakan password , dengan pilih “Files” pada menu lalu pilih “backup”

4. Kemudian copy file yang telah dibackup tadi .

5. Dan hapus file backup yang telah dicopy

6. Setelah dihapus saatnya mereset kongirurasi, dengan pilih “System” dan “reset configuration”

7. Setelah meresset selesai kemudian buka kembali winboxt dan pastekan file yang telah dicopy sebelumnya

11. Dan setelah itu hubungkan kembali dengan winboxt , dan backup maupuan restore file dengan menggunakan password

21. Dan coba buka salah satu file backup tadi , dan edit file all-configuration dan ip address ethernet yang sedang aktiv dan juga network nya
